A few days ago, I blogged about the do follow plugin I had installed on this blog. Since that time, and time is speedy in the internet world), I’ve been listed on the D List, by my friend Retta. The DList is a list of blogs who follow their comments, giving back links to the folks who stop by with something to say.
Here’s how it works:
***Begin to copy here***
1. Write a short paragraph at the beginning of your post and link back to the blog that put you on the list in the paragraph. This isn’t a suggestion. You need to break up the duplicate content. Someone took the time to add you so the least you can do is give them an extra link back.
2. Copy the list of originals below COMPLETELY and add it to your blog. If you would like a different keyword for your blog then change it when you do your post and it should pass to most blogs with that keyword.
3. Take the adds from the blog that added you and place them in the “Originals†list.
4. Add at least 1 new blog that you KNOW us using the DO FOLLOW plugin to the list in the “My Adds†section. (Add no more than 5!) Let the people you’ve added know, so that they can keep the list going!
5. Leave relevant comments on the blogs listed and get a link back to your site thanks to Do Follow!

Today’s neat-ness is an interesting discussion of the Socratic Method , used on 3rd graders. The Socratic method is a way of helping people find answers for themselves, and is very affective at any age for teaching. I also personally find it works great fro settling arguments. It’s hard to scream at someone while you are asking a question.

Ok, two posts today. The next neat thing is Dream Homes magazine. There are several editions of this magazine, including a couple of state versions, and some for foreign countries all featuring luxury homes. When you get to this website, scroll down a bit and look for the link labeled “Mega Dream Homes”. Not for the faint of heart, these home are priced at 10Million plus. Yes, I said Million. With an M. Looking is free, however, and you will find some wonderful factoids about these spendy homes under “mega lifestyles” in the upper right menu.
Today’s neat thing is the do follow plug-in for WordPress. WordPress automatically adds rel=nofollow to links people leave in the comments, including their name. In theory, that’s supposed to reduce spam, but it doesn’t. You might have noticed that I’ve been linking folks who comment over in the sidebar. Well, now I don’t have to do that anymore. If you comment here, or on any of my other blogs, you get a link. That simple. And it’s automatic. Less maintenance, more writing!
Now, just so you know, and those who comment here already know this, so they need not read any further: I patrol my comments vigorously. I respond to them, too. Don’t be thinking you can drop some spam here. Un-unh.

This is a collection of satellite images. Check out Niagara, then play in the GeoEye Gallery. There are so many neat images here that I hardly know what else to highlight. It’s all good! You can see I’ve labeled it “just neat stuff”, and that’s because I could find stuff here to fit every category I have!

Here is mathematical proof that indeed,
Girls are evil. I just wish someone would come up with one that said “boys are mean”. Seems only fair, right?
